One Year: God's Hand - Bravo God

As we enter this week of Thanksgiving, my thoughts go back to this time last year.  We returned from our Thanksgiving celebration to hear that our pastor had suffered a seizure that morning and was in the hospital.  Our thoughts stopped from our celebration to intercede for our young pastor and his family.

The news began to unfold that the seizure was the result of a brain tumor.  This past year, we have prayed and watched this man of God go through many surgeries and chemo treatments.

Today, he marched out onto the platform to preach to his body that now has multiple locations and numerous services. He has missed very few Sundays throughout this past year.  As I received the word from God  through this man, I couldn't help but offer up thanks for what God has done in his life and through his life this last year.

Today I say, "Bravo, Bravo God!" for the life of Matt Chandler and the testimony that has covered the world.

You can hear his testimony through many sources.  Just enter "Matt Chandler" in google and page after page will appear. I pray that by my sharing his testimony you will also be encouraged in your journey..I know I have been and still am.

Great post! Thanks for sharing. What an encouraging story. Would it be ok if I put a link up for your post from Nov. 18 entitled "I QUIT' on my blog tomorrow?? I was SO blessed by that post! On another note, I received requests for ideas of gifts to make for older sons, so I'm going to post about that tomorrow also. Have a blessed day! Bonni

Janette:

Matt's testimony covers all of life, doesn't it? And for him to stand in the place where he is and proclaim that... WOW!

It should be the prayer of each of us, and this sure challenges me to claim the same... those 3 things, He can, He will & even if He doesn't... to praise Him!

I loved this and will keep praying for his healing.

The Lord is worthy of all our
praise regardless of what we
may go through in this life.
A wonderful testimony! I pray
for Matt's full recovery that
he may live on to glorify the
Lord even more.

This man is blessed. Is that a two-way scar I see on the top of his head? Wow, I can't imagine brain surgery. Serious and sobering... PTL, he's back on his feet and preaching!

AMEN!! As one walking through cancer right now, how my heart echoes His. The body of Christ is truly amazing and evidence of Jesus Christ in us, His love poured out.

What an amazing testimony. God can move mountains and even as the three were in the fire, there God was with them. May God fully heal your Pastor and bless him with many fruitful years.

Thanks for sharing this video and your Pastor's testimony. Encouraged my heart today.

How inspiring!

Praise the Lord that this man of God knows who He healer is.

I enjoyed when he testified that he has received letters from various countries of believers interceding for his healing. God bless the saints:)

May the Lord's divine healing manifest in his body in the name of jesus!

What a blessing Matt is! Our pastor was healed from a devastating leukemia several years ago - he was diagnosed terminal several times. He was healed, and it is a miracle! His name is Dave Hess, and he wrote a book about it called Hope Beyond Reason. Matt may already be familiar with the book, if not, I know it was available on Amazon.

This is such a good post to read, especially as Thanksgiving is just a few days away. What a story of hope, and love, and support.

I was touched as I listened to his testimony of the outpouring of love and prayer for his healing even from people he had never met!

Thank you for sharing this with us!

Janette, thank you for sharing the video of Matt and his wife on Life Today. That is the only Christian TV show I really like.

I love how your pastor shared about how people from all over the world were praying for him. I am amazed at how God's people can join together and pray no matter where they are physically located. And I'm thankful for the internet to bring them together more easily. God can use the Internet for good! After all, He has brought us together and many other blogging sisters in Christ.

Much love,
Debbie
