Welcome to my eclectic journey of my life and delights. This year my theme is surrendering my writing pen to the true author, Jesus Christ, while looking forward to the future, reflecting on the past and dancing through my journey.

I definitely need to be more spontaneous. Life certainly can become too routine and being spontaneous makes the ordinary extraordinary!

Life is full of such opportunities to "be as little children." May we forever be on the lookout for them!

What a great fountain! I just love moving water!!

We go on spontaneous drives...one of my fave things to do! We used to go for drives when I was a child, and I still love it! We have our favorite spots and frequent them often! We need to add in a special picnic basket of goodies or something!!
Love this post!
Hugs n joy,
Becky

Splashing in cool, clear water... what could be more summery?

We entertained our son's new girlfriend spontaneously for dinner tonight... with not much advance notice. A roaring good time was had by all! ღ

Hello dear friend. If you are going to be in Abilene please call me-we really must meet and if you are coming please bring anything homeschooling wise that I might borrow and be able to give back to you if you are planning on homeschooling your youngest too. I am going to focus on 5th and some 6th grade this year even though she is supposed to be 6th grade I think we have some catching up to do so I am starting on 5th and seeing how that goes and if we are ahead of the game I will move forward if not we won't. I have nothing for English at this point or handwriting and I have some Science and History just not sure if I am thrilled with them yet. Math we are set on. God has been so faithful to this point that I am just not worried or stressed about it and I maybe should be a little more but I just have a real peace that this is what we need to do. Still a little worried about the whole money issue but I know God will provide that too,
I don't know the whole soap making thing either-but doing these lotion bars has been really fun-only sold 3 so far-but hey you have to start somewhere. I sell candles for Gold Canyon but I don't make those and I haven't done a whole lot with it so I wanted to do something where I could make more of a profit from what I actually put into it. We will see if it helps our family out any-hey if nothing else my family will have really great skin! lol
Thanks for your prayers-you are so sweet-I really want for us to meet in person!
We are having a good time with my family being here. It is a little stressful at times since I am a grown adult it is hard having them 24/7 under my roof-I think probably for them as well-but it only lasts for a few minutes and passes and I am truly thankful for the time to see them and for my kids to have their grandparents be around them to love and adore them.
Love ya
Jill
