Welcome to my eclectic journey of my life and delights. This year my theme is surrendering my writing pen to the true author, Jesus Christ, while looking forward to the future, reflecting on the past and dancing through my journey.

Things Come in Threes!

I still haven't picked out a word for this year.  I still haven't changed my header, or summed up last year or...............................  Yet, 2015 is coming in like a roaring lion and this lion is shouting
God is Good
God is in Control
God's Got This

While I was driving around, looking through my sun roof, still pinching myself to see if I was in a dream, something else just sent it all over the top.

(see the title of the book...his mommy loves books)

This time my precious daughter-in-law called to share.
This time I wasn't in the church nursery when I looked down at a phone to see the announcement.
This time I didn't yell and dance in front of strangers.

This time I started yelling and giggling..while riding in my joy car!!!

That is what it needs to be named...joy car.

YES!!  things come in three.

2013 - recap - two got married and three grandsons were added to our family.

2015 - THREE NEW GRANDCHILDREN!!!

Twins are due in June to our daughter - we will find out the sexes on Sunday

Then in September, our first born and his wife - the couple you prayed for as they walked through their journey of infertility - will welcome their third child in September.

Now more reason to sing with the sun roof open..yeah for Texas warm winters!

After your visit today it occurred to me I haven't dropped in on you for awhile. I'm so glad I did! It's been many years ago now (at least 19) when the burgeoning boundaries of our family including one new grandbaby after another. There's nine in all now, but still there are no adequate words to explain the depths of my love for them. And here you are anticipating the arrival of three. Now that a cup runneth overeth if ever there was one!

I pray 2015 is a year of blessed surprises & beauty.

Love,
Katleen

Thank you for sharing these JoYs!!! <3 I am so, so happy for you all! (And maybe a teensy bit envious of the Texas warmth) The Lord gave me just what I needed yesterday and I thought of you… warmth, sunshine and the energy to do a mini spring cleaning. It was just what I needed as the day before we'd had 4 degrees n fierce blowing snow that filtered through all the possible cracks in this old house. I'd been feeling sad in my dirty cold house full of special needs critters n crazy kids. (Even had an injured chicken in a closet as "barn cats" were in the downstairs bath) ;-) This morning I came down to find a backdoor blown open. Can't complain as my son had been stocking firewood (alone) through that door. Oh well. daylight savings and SPRING are on their way!
