New Mothers and Boys

My daughter-in-law made sure I am part of the club.  I have shown  her own boy mom shirt...check out their site if you are a mom or grand mom of boys. www.boysmomsdesigns.com  Joshua made me a Grand Mommy a year ago. He calls me "Grand Mommy" and my  answer is "yes!"

The new moms in our family are doing a great job!!  My moms of boys...my three grandsons.

Don't you remember your first kisses from your child?  My daughter is getting Mother's Day kisses from son David.

Uncle Benjamin loves being an Uncle!  Holding Maverick.

Cousins playing with each other.  My husband just laughs and says, "I can't believe we have two grandsons two days apart!"  Their personalities can already be seen.  This is going to be fun.

Now to leave you with the latest trick.

He has found his tongue!!!

Being a Grand Mommy brings a new meaning to Mother's Day.
Since I am still raising two sons, I get to experience both worlds.  Benjamin made me a home made card that will go in my treasure box.  What a joy to be a still active Mom and Grand Mommy at the same time.

Unmitigated JOY.

That's what came to my mind when I read this post.

That, and the fact that those Wright male genes must be awfully powerful!!

GOD BLESS!

Oh how I LOVE baby kisses!! Soo sweet. You are in a unique and delightful position as both mom and grandmom. My first grand daughter was born and Melody was only 10. She was still living at home when the second, third, fourth and fifth were born too. She was a lot older then Benjamin, but I was still active in the role of mom. One of them was a flower girl at her wedding, and another was the ring bearer. My mother's youngest was only 4 when I made her a grandmother at age 40! My son and my youngest sister grew up more like cousins then aunt and uncle. They are still very close and have such a good relationship. Loved this post. I am off to check out their site. Have a good week!

Big huge grin and scrinched up shoulders by the last shot. I love that! I love the kissing part too.

Your grandsons are so beautiful. When I think of your roller coaster ride last year, I can't help but smile as I think of what God saved or the end of it.

Happy GRAND Mother's Day!

Oh I went happily off to bed after reading this last night. I see that I left no comment...obviously, too tired to think. Anyway, I loved seeing you with the grandsons and I loved seeing Benjamin being a good uncle and I really was tickled to see your daughter getting the best kisses!

Yes, being a Grandmother is just too much fun! Ours are 4 and 5 now and I love this age. We have such great conversations and they think me and their Poppa is "the be all, do all." Happy Grandmothering!!!!

How precious are all these boys!!! And of course their sweet moms. God is so good!!
My own aunts and uncles are only 3-5 years older than I am...such GREAT memories of playing with them over the years. Such role models, especially my aunt!
I bet Benjamin will be such a role model for those boys. Blessings!!

One word, PRICELESS, enjoy all of those hugs and kisses. I must add, Janette, you get younger looking all the time, so being a grandmother certainly agrees with you.
Love and hugs,
Sue
P.S.
Give Benjamin a hug from me.
