The Movie Reveal

As I blogged in my first post announcing the wedding events of our son, I expressed how the whole event was movie like.  Here are just a few pictures of the wedding...set in a movie setting.  Even Benjamin was posed as a supporting actor looking out over the veranda where the ceremony took place.

What can I say....................this mom just cried when it was sent to her.  My daughter-in-law's parents just glow and yes, our son and hubby are dancing down the aisle.  I hope you enjoy a little of our movie.

oh my absolute goodness!!! that is so beautiful, precious, out of the box adorable!!! What a treasure Janette, and what amazing people they both are, the creative genes have gone to the next generation for sure. I'm not sure, but I think my favorite things are the shoes!!! That was priceless to watch. LOOOOVE it! :)

OH MY GOODNESS!! This was just soo neat! I loved every little thing about it! Such a gorgeous place and a beautiful couple! I loved her dress, and their shoes, and the scenery, the flowers, the setting, just everything! That picture of Benjamin was ADORABLE! I can just imagine you will treasure this! I am soo happy you shared this with us! I feel like I got a little peek into something really beautiful!

To answer you question, NO I do not stuff stockings anymore ~ didn't do a lot of that even when my kids lived here, haha ~ when they each left home that was the end of that. And no, I made the stockings to be hung at their homes. That's why they were sooo different from each others. Melody chose the trendy burlap, simple style, and Leah ~ Joe's wife ~ wanted a country, more traditional feel. I just wanted to try out the embroidery part of my machine and names on stockings seemed like a good way to do it. My youngest son's family just bought really nice new ones a couple of years ago and so the kids are kind of attached to them so I am not making for them, and my middle son lives with two room mates so I spared him, haha. I try to make them something every year that they can use in their homes for the Christmas season and give it to them on Thanksgiving. This year they are getting the stockings, AND a table runner if I get them all done. I make them all Christmas pj's too which the kids really count on so I have to finish them first. If there is enough time after that, they might get the runners, lol oh! And I have a family ornament done with their names on it too. The kids love that too so I kind of have a lot of new traditions going on. But all of this has to be done by Thanksgiving, that's why I am running quickly out of time...

Hope all else is good with you!
