Welcome to my eclectic journey of my life and delights. This year my theme is surrendering my writing pen to the true author, Jesus Christ, while looking forward to the future, reflecting on the past and dancing through my journey.

This Is How Fast My Brain is Running!!!

Summer is over!!!!!!!!!! Well the school schedule says it has come to an end and I am yelling, "NO!"

As the clocks get set,(I so hate clocks), the clothes organized in the closet, school supplies bought, Senior pictures ordered, meals planned and calendar dates fill the spaces, I breath in a deep breath and hear this song.

Enjoy your weekend.  For those of you who don't have to return to a school schedule...please don't rub it in..these old bones can't handle it.  I have, however, enjoyed the lake, picnic at the park and painting my daughter's house. Summer is meant to be enjoyed.  See you again when I can catch my breath, as my third grader and Senior in High School, head out the door on Monday.

Have a blessed weekend doing something special with those guys! Then I hope that you get to sleep in Tuesday morning or every day next week.

Honestly the beginning of a new school year was one of my favorite times of year! I miss it. Wishing and praying the boys have a GOOD year, and mama too!

Oh, my goodness, that wore me out. How funny! Like Debbie, I always loved the beginning of school. Our kids were past being ready and bored and I was glad to send them off. :o))

You might like to see the plans for our new house and a sketch of it. I featured it on my blog yesterday.

Happy weekend!

And school begins. Think about fall and the beautiful scenery that comes with it. Plan a few artist's dates (when you simply stop and enjoy some time alone). You're so busy!

Summer flew by as usual. I hope all the new beginnings go well. I enjoyed your shoe mismatch story!

As a school teacher, for so many years I dreaded the end of summer. I totally understand. And I promise that now that I am retired, I will NOT rub it in. But it is wonderful and you do have a lot to look forward to. --Compensation for old age, I guess--lol!

I love that video. She is spot on. Being an empty nester for many years now, the end of summer has other connotations, and this year, means closer to my next BIG adventure, Retirement. Next year! Whoohoo! Then onto other projects. At the moment, I can empathize with you, and admire the amount of energy you still have. Bless you for sharing some of it with us.
