Welcome to my eclectic journey of my life and delights. This year my theme is surrendering my writing pen to the true author, Jesus Christ, while looking forward to the future, reflecting on the past and dancing through my journey.

Prayer Warrior

This is an incredible video with awesome words.  It touched my heart as I lift up my sword in pray.  The battle is still raging and God has called us all to be Prayer Warriors.  This is dedicated to a precious couple who heard some devastating news this past week on their 5-month-old in the womb, first child.  This prayer warrior cries out for a healing miracle from Our Awesome Healing God.

Standing also in the gap for

  • Prodigals
  • Infertility
  • Marriages
  • Teens
  • Lost loved ones
  • Finances/Jobs
  • Revival in our Churches
  • America
  • Up Coming Elections
  • Pastors/Churches
You can add your own to the list above.  I hope this video and the song inspired you to pick up your sword and leave behind a legacy of prayer for generations to come.

PRAYER WARRIOR

1.We may see her in the grocery with her children
Or in the city nine to five each working day
She's a mother or a teacher or a woman all alone
But she's someone else entirely when she prays

C.She's a prayer warrior down on her knees
    Wrestling with power and principalities
Standing in the gap for others
For her sisters and her brothers
Reaching heaven with her heart – prayer warrior

2.We don't see her lonely nights of intercession
Or that tear she shed with every whispered name
We may not see the simple things hidden in her heart
But the eyes of God are watching her with care

Repeat Chorus

Bridge: And we'll never wholly know the debt we owe her
For we'll never know the evil we've been spared
Many nights she's crushed through Satan’s strongholds
             Reaching heaven with her prayers

Tag:Oh you have touched the very heart of God
Prayer warrior - prayer warrior - prayer warrior

I do join you in prayer for all you mention here including healing for that child in the womb.
I also pray for transformed hearts throughout the body of Christ.

This is such a blessing this morning! What a message, and how we need to be that 'prayer warrior' for our families and ourselves and our churches and for all the needs around us. I am never without something to pray about. God brings the people and the situations to my heart all through the day. The more the world thinks they don't need God, the more we have to pray. I am as guilty as the next person of forgetting what power is behind us when we pray. Thanks for the beautiful reminder this morning.

Beautiful song and video! Sent a letter to an aging aunt explaining salvation and she should receive it today or tomorrow. Praying for an open heart and ability to understand.

Also another elderly aunt with a terminal illness that I have on my heart.

We sure do have situations in our lives that need continued prayer!

Oh Janette this was a beautiful video....I love the song. And yes, we do need to be praying just constantly. Or as the scriptures say...without ceasing. Sooo much on my heart this morning too. Definitely standing in the gap with you! HUGS

What a great reminder to remember to pray! Sometimes we forget what a privilege it is to stand in the gap - our words can stretch over the miles!

Prayer is where the POWER is, isn't it? What a privilege to stand united with other believers in prayer and to see those mountains move!

We all join in your pledge to stand in the gap with numerous intentions. There are so many who need healing, physical, emotional and spiritual. We know prayer works, when aligned with God's will. Great post, Janette.

Wow Janette...that was just the encouragement that I needed to hear.

There's days I wonder if my prayers are doing any good. Then God answers one of the many prayers in a marvelous way.

Thank you!

That's such a beautiful song and with words that can move mountains. I always wonder about my prayer life, and is it enough to be a warrior like you, and am I making a difference? I have a prayer warrior in my life, a senior that comes to my home now and then. Her prayers have comforted me like a warm blanket during these past few weeks of tests and results.

As I was looking down my blog list this morning , don't know how I missed this, Janette.
I am so thankful for prayer warriors in my life.

If Jesus felt the need to pray for His disciples and for us, how much more should we stand in the gap for others.
What a privilege to help you and others pray for these needs.
An awesome video.
Blessings, Sue

The Lord woke me up the other night to pray for people on the other side of the world. He did that to my sister once, and put a specific child on her heart. She was faithful and obedient and prayed for the little girl. The next morning my sister turned on the news and saw the same child. It still gives me goose-bumps when I think of that story!

Our world is in such need of prayer. I'm standing in the gap with you too!

I have had "pray without ceasing" running through my mind for weeks. I know the Lord wants us on our knees! So I will join you in being a prayer warrior... Lord reach out your mighty hand to us! We need Your grace and comfort, strength and healing!

That bridge! I'm with you... I'm wielding my sword, and trusting Him who said that all we need is faith like a mustard seed, and then again, ask and you shall receive! I know that His will must be accomplished. But if what we ask is not outside His will? Glory!

Blessings, Debbie
