You Know What They Say About a Full MOON?

We were headed home from making the apartment ready for our daughter and new grandson.  I looked up into the sky and saw the most beautiful autumn moon.  Then I started to giggle to myself and I cried out loud, "Okay Sarah it is time!"  I quickly stopped the car to text to my daughter-in-law, 'Go outside and look up into the sky."

Every excited bone was ignited as I choose to go to bed at the early time of 9:00.  I was woken by  the sound of my phone ringing.  I yelled for Bill to grab the phone as I shot out of bed, jumping in excitement...I knew.  This Grand Mommy has done two happy dances over this pregnancy.  The announcement while I was at church and now the announcement that labor had started.   We grabbed the keys to meet them and take Joshua.

My midwives always said there were more babies under full moons.  Well this Grand Mommy has had two grandsons in two days.

First born son and his wife - Kenny and Sarah Jane

After years of infertility and surgeries my daughter-in-law's prayers were answered.  I think almost all her heart's desires were answered.  She had a water birth.  He is extremely healthy.  They are both doing fine.
Joshua now has a baby brother.

Back to my Grand Mommy Break!!!!!!
Can you believe this?  God is just soooooooooooo good and has a sense of humor.

  2. So was this little one born on the 18th ? That would make it two days apart. What incredible joy for you. Being a baby nurse (former) I looked up at the sky last night and knew babies were coming forth!

  17. I just happened to open my blog and check my sideboard this morning and OH, PTL!! I see that you have been very, very busy!! I love both names. David is my favorite boys name in the whole world. It was my father's name, and if I had ever had a son, it would have been his name. I love it, Liam, and both middle names.

What an incredible year you have had, Miss Janette. My heart is kind of pounding in my chest.

  18. And BTW, I saw that chair too and love it. Yes, I realize that it doesn't rise to the height of grandsons, but I love it nonetheless. Makes me smile.

  19. Oh my; a double congratulations! That full moon brings out the best. However, when I worked as a nurse we used to get the crazies in the ER. :)

So happy for your new bundle of joy.

  21. Janette, I've been in McKinney and Mineral Wells this week visiting family, and you've been on my mind -- wishing we could meet. Only now am I finding a minute to check your blog ... and WOW! Your babies are both here! I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat with thoughts of God's humor, your happy dances, and your "overabundance" of grandones when not so long ago you felt extremely barren in that department. Bless you, my friend, and praises to our Father in heaven for his marvelous works in your family. Enjoy, ENJOY!

  22. Dear Janette, Congratulations!! to you and your entire family on the addition of your new grandson's. What a Thanksgiving blessing.
I am so happy to know the way life is coming together for you. The Dear Lord does keep us in His arms and shows us His wonder when we think to ourselves "how" will I do this. I try to remember, "I will not, He will" and humble myself.
You give me strength seeing how your miracles in life have come to be.
A very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to you and your wonderful family. Catherine xo
