It is spring break at our house.....what does that mean?
No School!! Slower Schedule!
Watching the spring storms arrive, oh my!, no sunshine this week!
Learning to walk in these again...'mom, they are between the wrong toes!"
Making our way to the movie theater to get out of the rain!
Unplugging for the week to enjoy each other and accomplish some spring cleaning!
Going to find these, they are popping up on everywhere (our state flower)....umbrella in hand. We won't complain after last year's drought....and besides we planted our garden last week...so let it rain.
Enjoying the thoughts of the Haze Days of Summer to arrive just months from now.
Have a great week....as we escape into our Spring Break!
Have fun! Let us sing and dance in the rain and praise Him for newness!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it to the max!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. I must be the only one who isn't taking spring break for awhile yet.
ReplyDeleteI need one let me tell you. This house is in need of major spring cleaning too.
Are your really going to unplug?
Let me know how that goes.
Have a great week with a slower schedule.
Our spring break was last week! It just flew by! Enjoy your kids and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHave fun this week!
ReplyDeleteHave fun this week!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! ENJOY this week!! How I loved spring break with the kids home. I remember TRYING to make it to the beach which sometimes the weather cooperated with, and sometimes it just didn't. I am wanting to go to that movie too with my grandson...Maybe Thursday? Wish we could go together, wouldn't that be great? HUGS!
ReplyDeleteOh, I do hope you'll post a bluebonnet pic once you get some! Just yesterday I asked my husband if there wasn't SOME way he could make bluebonnets from here in TN. (I think it's too wet.) I miss them a lot!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Spring Break with your little guy!
Are they lupines? Whatever, they are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Have a wonderful time, Janette! I don't complain about the rain either.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I almost complained about the bugs yesterday and then remembered WHY we have them this year. I think it's going to be a blog post.
Anyway. Have fun unplugged.
LOVE those blue lupines.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break!
Spring break! How wonderful! One of the best vacations Chickie and I ever had was one rainy summer week. We had a staycation and a couple of day trips. It's the slowing down and enjoying each other's company that makes it memorable!
ReplyDeleteHave fun and enjoy..we have our youngest home for a couple of days for his spring break...I do enjoy this time of year
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe went to see The Lorax with our 3 year old Grandson last week and really enjoyed it. It has political undertones, but I would have never known it if Hubby had not pointed it out to me. :o) It has some really cute music.
I'm all over flip flops! Happy Spring!
Hooray for spring break! You'll have lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have great plans.
Four more days for me. I'm ready!
Logan was home for the week and we had a great time. It is hard to believe the school year is almost done. We are getting some rain and are welcome for it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Spring Break! See you when you return! :)
ReplyDeleteHey girl, thinking of you today while watching the weather channel. Hope all is well at your house & having some fun on the Spring Break. We are back in our grind this week.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you are going to be making memories this week.....Remember some so you can share with us....
ReplyDeleteHave fun...
Wow, spring already! I know how beautiful everything must be where you live... spring cleaning, end of season sales, putting the winter clothes away... what a joyous time of the year this is, I imagine.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this new season, dear Janette!
Love
Lidia
Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteClosed down my Mary's Heart and Retro Rocket, now back on my old Civilla blog.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful week, rain or shine! The flowers are so beautiful...ah, the freshness of spring!!! We've been having summer weather here...it's freaky over a week of mid 80's...record breaking temps. Usually March is the month of mud and can still have big snows, but you should see all the green grass and blossoms as if we are two months ahead! I'm not complaining...I love it!!! It probably feels about like March in Texas, eh? xoxo
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Glenda
i can't wait to hear about all your spring break
ReplyDeletefun! isn't it beautiful after all the rain? yippee!
wish we had bluebells up here, but the azaleas
and redbuds are gorgeous!
Oh it all sounds wonderful! Our spring break has been almost a month long. People, people, people. I'm beginning to question for the first time ever if my girls really will be educated by the time they leave home. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
Although we are past spring break schedules, the air is thick with renewed kid energy in our neighborhood. Yesterday there was still bits of snow on the ground and kids running around without even jackets because it warmed up so much. Sun, for us here in Oregon, turns into a craving and I hope it sticks around all of spring break.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your spring break!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sue
Hope you all had a wonderful time of fun and relaxing! Loved the photos...(especially the toes!!)
ReplyDeleteGOD BLESS!
